Our 400 m² testing laboratory is fully integrated into SAIREM’s R&D and engineering departments, ensuring direct interaction between experimentation, process development and industrial design.
Beyond our engineering expertise, SAIREM provides access to more than 20 microwave and radio frequency testing systems, covering laboratory, pilot and pre-industrial scales.
Find the right frequency
Our test center is unique in its ability to operate at different frequencies. Depending on the application, SAIREM determines the frequency best suited to customer requirements: 13.56 MHz, 27.12 MHz, 915 MHz, 2450 MHz.
Selecting the appropriate frequency is essential when developing a process. Each material is characterized by its permittivity, which defines how it interacts with electromagnetic waves. This property depends not only on the nature of the material or food product, but also on its temperature.

Beyond standalone systems, our approach also consists in combining technologies when required. Microwave and radio frequency equipment can be efficiently coupled with ultrasound, infrared, steam and hot air, allowing a precise control of heat transfer, mass transfer and reaction kinetics. As a result, hybrid processes can be developed to meet the most demanding performance and product quality objectives.
This wide range of configurations allows customers to reproduce real industrial conditions, compare technologies, and identify the most efficient process architecture for their specific application.
A broad variety of products and materials can be tested, including food products, organic materials, polymers, elastomers, minerals, ceramics and advanced materials.
The objective is to validate new processes under controlled and measurable conditions using advanced testing equipment. Reliable testing requires precise and repeatable measurements.
